Return, Warranty & Claims Policy

Last Updated: May 5, 2026

Texas Truck Parts & Accessories specializes in OEM take-off and replacement automotive parts. Because many items are large freight-shipped components and/or used OEM parts, this policy clearly outlines eligibility for returns, damage claims, and warranty coverage.

By purchasing from Texas Truck Parts & Accessories, the buyer agrees to the terms below.

What we do guarantee: three specific things — a Fitment Guarantee on parts that don’t fit, a Damage-in-Transit Guarantee on freight damage, and a Wrong-Item Guarantee if we ship the wrong part. Details on each below.

Shipping Methods

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Most items sold are OEM take-off parts removed from new or low-mileage vehicles.

Parts may show normal handling or storage wear including:
• Light scratches
• Minor scuffs
• Mounting marks
• Paint imperfections

These cosmetic characteristics are normal and do not affect function.
They are not considered defects and are not grounds for return or refund.

All items are sold as-is unless otherwise stated.

You are responsible for verifying that the part fits your year/make/model before purchase. We list YMM details on each product and our team will gladly help verify before you buy. Just provide:

• Year
• Make
• Model
• Trim
• VIN (recommended)

Fitment Guarantee: if a part doesn’t physically fit when it should, contact us within 14 days of delivery. We’ll arrange a return for refund or exchange. A 15% restocking fee may apply on wrong-YMM orders, and buyer pays return freight. Pre-existing modifications to your vehicle are excluded.

We stand behind every part we sell. If something goes wrong on our end, our three guarantees have you covered:

Fitment Guarantee — see Compatibility & Fitment above
Damage-in-Transit Guarantee — see Shipping Damage Claims at right
Wrong-Item Guarantee — if we ship the wrong part vs. what your order specifies, we cover return shipping and either replace it or refund in full, your choice.

Returns we cannot accept:
• Change of mind
• Found cheaper elsewhere
• Cosmetic expectations beyond what’s described
• Installation issues unrelated to the part itself
• Items modified, installed, or damaged after delivery

If you’re unsure whether your situation is covered, contact us — we’d rather work it out than lose you as a customer.

All shipments are insured, but damage must be documented at delivery.

At time of delivery the customer MUST:

  1. Inspect packaging and contents before signing
  2. Note damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL) OR refuse shipment
  3. Take clear photos before and after unpackaging

Failure to document damage at delivery voids the insurance claim — signing without noting damage makes the freight claim much harder to win.

Resolution: we file the freight claim — you don’t deal with the carrier. If we have another unit in stock we replace it. If it’s a one-of-a-kind take-off and replacement isn’t possible, we refund in full or work with you on a substitute that makes you whole.

Do NOT install the item
Do NOT remove from delivery location
Carrier inspection may be required

We cannot file a claim without:
• Damage photos
• Notated delivery receipt
• Carrier inspection report (if requested)

We provide a 30-Day Functional Warranty on most parts unless otherwise stated.

This warranty covers:
• Structural failure
• Non-functional OEM component failure

This warranty does NOT cover:
• Cosmetic wear
• Paint condition
• Installation damage
• Labor costs
• Shop fees
• Alignment costs
• Programming/calibration
• Improper installation
• Buyer modification
• Electrical incompatibility
• Pre-existing vehicle issues

Warranty applies to the part only — not labor or related expenses.

If a shipment is refused for reasons other than damage:

Buyer is responsible for:
• Round-trip freight
• Storage fees
• Carrier penalties

These charges will be deducted from any approved refund (if applicable).

Inspect shipment before signing — no exceptions.

If damage is present:
• Refuse delivery OR note damage on the BOL
• Take photos before and after unpackaging
• Do NOT remove item from premises
• Carrier inspection must be completed

We cannot initiate a claim unless the following is provided:

  1. Photos
  2. Notated freight bill
  3. Carrier inspection report

Failure to follow these steps may void the claim.

All take-off parts are OEM used components. While many are near-new, they are not showroom retail items.

Normal handling and storage may result in:
• Light scratches
• Minor scuffs
• Small paint marks
• Mounting marks

These are considered normal and not grounds for return.

LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) shipping is used for large items exceeding UPS/FedEx limits or requiring pallet protection.

Examples include:
• Step tailgates
• Bumpers
• Wheels & tires
