Texas Truck Parts & Accessories (“Texas Truck Parts,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit texastruckparts.shop or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

This policy applies to all pages at texastruckparts.shop and to any orders, accounts, or messages you send us. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the site. Your use of the site is also subject to our Terms of Service and our Return, Warranty & Claims Policy.

1. Who we are

Texas Truck Parts & Accessories is a Texas-based seller of OEM take-off and aftermarket truck parts and accessories, operating out of 13618 Florence Rd. Ste D1, Sugar Land, TX 77498 and serving customers nationwide.

For privacy questions specifically, write to the email above with the subject line “Privacy Request.”

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly, information collected automatically when you use the site, and information we receive from third-party services that help us operate the site.

Information you give us directly

When you place an order, create an account, fill out a contact or quote form, or email us, we collect things like your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, vehicle year/make/model details if you share them for fitment, the parts you ordered, and any messages or notes you send us. If you call us, we may take notes about what you asked about so we can follow up.

Payment information

We do not store full credit-card numbers on our servers. Card details are collected and processed by our PCI-compliant payment processors (for example, Stripe and PayPal). We receive a transaction confirmation, the last four digits of the card, and the cardholder’s billing zip — not the full card number.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the site we automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the pages you view, the time and length of your visit, the referring URL, and clicks on links and buttons. This is collected through standard server logs and through cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5).

Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from companies that help us operate the site — for example, address verification services, shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS) for delivery confirmation and tracking, and analytics providers that aggregate site usage data.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process, fulfill, and ship your orders, including communicating with you about order status, shipping, returns, warranty claims, and back-orders.
  • Verify fitment of parts to your vehicle and confirm vehicle compatibility before shipping.
  • Create and maintain your customer account if you choose to register.
  • Respond to your questions, quote requests, and customer-support messages.
  • Prevent fraud, verify your identity, and protect the security of the site and our customers.
  • Send you order receipts and transactional emails (these are not marketing and you cannot opt out of them as long as you have an active order).
  • Send you marketing emails about new arrivals, promotions, and truck-parts content if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • Improve the site, our product listings, and our customer service through analytics and feedback.
  • Comply with legal obligations, including tax reporting, and respond to valid legal requests.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only with the following categories of recipients, and only as needed to operate the business:

  • Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, and similar) receive the information they need to process your payment and protect against fraud.
  • Shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, freight carriers for large items) receive your shipping address, name, phone number, and any delivery instructions so they can deliver your order.
  • Service providers that help us run the site (web hosting, email delivery, customer-support tools, accounting, analytics) receive only the information they need to perform their service. They are contractually required to use it only for that purpose.
  • Marketing and advertising platforms (such as Google and Meta) may receive limited information to help us measure the performance of our advertising and to show you relevant ads on other sites you visit. See Section 5 for more on advertising cookies and your choices.
  • Government, law enforcement, and legal recipients may receive information when we are required to share it by law (subpoena, court order, regulatory request) or when we believe in good faith that sharing is necessary to protect our rights, the safety of our customers, or the public.
  • In a business transfer. If Texas Truck Parts is sold, merged, or reorganized, customer information may be transferred to the new owner as part of that transaction. We will notify you by email or by a notice on the site if that happens.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and support advertising.

Strictly necessary cookies

These keep your shopping cart working, keep you logged in, and let checkout function. The site cannot work without these.

Analytics cookies

Tools like Google Analytics help us understand which pages are visited, how long visits last, and where visitors come from. This is mostly aggregated data, not used to identify individuals.

Advertising cookies

Tools like the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags help us measure ad performance and show you relevant truck-parts ads on other websites and apps. You can opt out of personalized advertising through industry tools like the Digital Advertising Alliance’s WebChoices tool (optout.aboutads.info), the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), or the privacy controls inside Google and Meta themselves.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking cookies will break parts of checkout and account features.

6. Email marketing

If you subscribe to our marketing emails, we will send you occasional messages about new arrivals, promotions, sales, and truck-parts content. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by clicking that link or by writing to info@texastruckparts.shop with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line.

We will continue to send you transactional emails (order receipts, shipping notices, return confirmations, warranty updates) even after you unsubscribe from marketing, because those messages relate to a transaction you started with us.

7. Data retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the services you asked for, comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

In practice, that means: order and transaction records are retained for at least seven years for tax and accounting purposes; account information stays on file as long as your account is open; marketing email lists are retained until you unsubscribe; site analytics are retained per the analytics provider’s default retention window (typically 14–26 months).

You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see Section 8). We may need to keep some records (for example, completed-order records) even after deletion in order to comply with our legal obligations.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), or similar state privacy laws. Where those laws apply, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it.
  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. (We do not sell your personal information, but cookie-based advertising may be considered “sharing” under some state laws.)
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise these rights, email info@texastruckparts.shop with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us which right you are exercising. We may need to verify your identity before responding (typically by confirming the email on file, recent order numbers, or shipping ZIP). We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

9. Children’s privacy

The site is intended for adults shopping for truck parts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us at info@texastruckparts.shop and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards — including HTTPS / TLS encryption in transit, restricted administrative access, password hashing, and PCI-compliant payment processing — to protect the information we hold. No system on the internet is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

11. International visitors

The site is operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., the information you submit will be transferred to and stored in the U.S. By using the site, you consent to that transfer.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our business or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the site or by email if we have your address. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
